Industrial robots help high-quality development of my country’s manufacturing industry
Four months ago, in a video released by Boston Dynamice, the sight of 10 SpotMini pulling a large car "click" once again refreshed people's understanding of robots (perhaps robot dogs are more accurate). The ongoing "2019 World Robot Conference" clearly shows another scene. With the mutual promotion of industrial robots and intelligent manufacturing, the high-quality development of China's manufacturing industry is showing positive changes.
The China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (hereinafter referred to as the Rocket Academy) affiliated to the Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd. has unveiled a variety of robots, most of which are related to smart manufacturing.
Among them, the 3kg/5kg collaborative robotic arm developed by the 18th Institute of the Rocket Academy has successfully attracted onlookers. It can grab 3kg to 5kg items in 360 degrees, and the grabbing accuracy can achieve the legendary accuracy of not losing a centimeter (0.1 mm range).
Wang Yanbo, director of the 18th Intelligent Robot Innovation Center of the Rocket Academy, said that to ensure safety, most of the robots currently operating in the industry can only work alone. This collaborative robotic arm breaks the "human-machine interaction barrier" and can help operators work beside them.
To generate data and perform production tasks, various industrial robots are increasingly appearing in the business processes of various manufacturing companies, becoming an important production tool in intelligent manufacturing scenarios.
Lenovo and Motorola brand mobile phones, tablets, SIoT devices and other products are produced at the Lenovo (Wuhan) industrial base and shipped worldwide. Here, not only various types of industrial robots are the main "labor force" on the production line, but 65 AGV automatic freight robots with Lenovo's independently developed control system run fully automatically in the factory area in 11 lines, and can avoid people and obstacles. The entire process does not require any manual intervention, and more than 13,000 raw materials are delivered every 1.5 hours.
Yang Yuanqing, chairman and CEO of Lenovo Group, told a reporter from Science and Technology Daily: "Lenovo made a good start in the first fiscal quarter of this year, with operating profit and net profit doubling compared with the same period last year. It is particularly important to emphasize that this is inseparable from our promotion of intelligent manufacturing and intelligent transformation."
The intelligent manufacturing mentioned by Yang Yuanqing, including the intelligent transformation of the entire process of R&D, production, supply, sales and service, is now a common path for high-quality advancement in my country's manufacturing industry. Lenovo is exporting its own intelligent transformation as a model to other companies, and has provided comprehensive intelligent manufacturing solutions to hundreds of China's top 500 manufacturing companies.
Lenovo’s Data Intelligence Business Group (DIBG), which was independently operated in June this year, is responsible for this “industry intelligence” task. Luo Haoyuan, partner of Zhongyue United Investment, said: "Judging from the performance of this financial quarter, the overall turnover of Lenovo's business has grown rapidly, reaching 4 times that of the same period last year. This number tells us that my country's manufacturing industry has strong demand for high-quality and advanced manufacturing, and industrial robots are an important carrier of intelligent manufacturing. , while allowing China to continue to be the largest application market for industrial robots in the world, it will also feed back the development of China's robot industry. "
"China is promoting the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry, and accelerating the development of the robot industry is an important way to develop the high-quality manufacturing industry. "Miao Wei, Minister of Industry and Information Technology, said, "Since the beginning of this year, the growth of global industrial robots has slowed down due to the impact of the international economic development environment. At the same time, the robot industry still faces many problems and challenges in the development process. But overall, as a new round of technological revolution and manufacturing integration. As an important carrier of innovation, robots are still an important driving force in promoting the conversion of old and new kinetic energy and promoting high-quality economic development." Miao Wei revealed that in 2018, China's industrial robot production reached 148,000 units (sets), accounting for more than 38% of global production.
Luo Haoyuan said: "Although this number is exciting, Switzerland's ABB, Germany's KUKA, Japan's Fanuc and Yaskawa Electric, which are also known as the four major families of industrial robots, jointly occupy more than 70% of the market share of China's robot industry, almost monopolizing high-end fields such as robot manufacturing and welding. China's industrial robot industry still needs to work hard. Make up for the shortcomings. "
Academician Tan Jianrong, a mechanical engineering expert, once said: "The core controller is one of the core technologies of robots and is the area that China needs to make breakthroughs most. "
As one of the core components of industrial robots, the controller is the brain of industrial robots and has a decisive impact on the performance of robots. It is understood that as one of the 35 core technologies that our country urgently needs to overcome, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has listed it as one of the key technological shortcomings that our country needs to work hard to make up for, and it has been included in the "Industrial Strengthening Foundation Project Implementation Guide (2016-2020)" "One-stop" application plan.
