Kia K3 PHEV with pure electric range of 80 kilometers will be launched in September
NetEase Auto reported on August 23 that it was recently learned that the new generation Kia K3 PHEV model will be launched during the 2019 Chengdu Auto Show. The appearance and interior of the new car are basically the same as the fuel version, with the addition of exclusive new energy logos. The power system is composed of a 1.6L engine and an electric motor, and the fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is only about 1L.

New car information:
·Adopts the family's iconic tiger-roaring front face, which is wider in size, has a straight waterfall design inside, and the central decorative strip of the front bumper is blue;

·The length, width and height are 4660/1780/1450mm respectively, the wheelbase is 2700mm, and it uses closed wheels similar to the starfish shape;

·The rear of the car is basically the same as the fuel version. The through-type taillights are recognizable to a certain extent. The original blue color is added to the center of the rear bumper. The dual exhaust layout is actually chrome-plated decoration;

·The interior adopts a standard T-shaped layout, and the 10.25-inch large screen integrates multiple functions. The interface adds information including remaining battery power, pure electric driving range and charging management. In addition, a function to search for nearby charging piles is added.

·The power system consists of a 1.6L engine and an electric motor. The engine has a maximum power of 105 horsepower and a peak torque of 147N·m. It is matched with a 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The electric motor has a maximum power of 45 horsepower and has a pure electric cruising range of 80km.
