South Korea's Constitutional Court rules that banning teenagers from playing online games late at night is constitutional

International Broadcasting Station (KBS) reported on April 24 that the South Korean Constitutional Court ruled on the afternoon of the 24th that the "Regulations Prohibiting Teenagers Under 16 Years Old from Playing Online Games Late Night" was constitutional.
Among the 9 judges who participated in the trial, 7 judges believed it was "constitutional" and 2 judges made a judgment of "unconstitutional". Therefore, the Constitutional Court finally made a "constitutional" judgment.
Article 26, Item 1 of the Youth Protection Law stipulates that teenagers under the age of 16 are prohibited from playing online games from 0 am to 6 am every day. Article 59, Item 5 of the Youth Protection Act stipulates that if you violate relevant regulations, you will be sentenced to a prison sentence of less than 2 years or a fine of 10 million won (approximately RMB 60,000).
