Huawei Mate 30 series screens may be supplied by Samsung instead of LG/BOE
Previously, Huawei Mate 20 series devices used screens jointly supplied by LG and China's BOE, but this year's Huawei Mate 30 series may no longer be supplied by these two manufacturers.

Recently, foreign media DigitalChatStaion broke the news that Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro may use Samsung's AMOLED display instead of the display panels produced by LG and BOE used in the Mate 20 series. Although there was earlier news that BOE intends to continue to supply display panels for the Mate 30 series, Huawei may choose to cooperate with Samsung for the supply of display panels out of consideration for normal shipments.
In addition, Huawei is still "concerned" about the color and brightness problems that occurred in the previous Mate 20 Pro display panel, so it plans to have a more mature panel manufacturer supply the front panel for the new flagship.
Currently, there is no official confirmation of the display screen used in the Mate 30 series devices, but according to previously revealed information, Huawei Mate 30 Pro will use a large curvature waterfall screen design and the reduced bangs will be used to accommodate 3D structured light sensors. At the same time, compared with the Mate 20 Pro, the Mate 30 Pro has much narrower borders.
